I just wanted to let everyone know the significance of the picture and the links at the top of the page. The picture above was taken at Norwalk Raceway Park in Norwalk, OH at the Night Under Fire dragracing event held over Fourth of July weekend. Me, Mike, and Kurt ran up there to see the event. I took this picture of Mike and 300 MPH jet-dragster driver Jessie Harris. hannamotorsports.com/JHARRIS.htmlThe three of us had a blast watching the show, and I am so glad we went. Mike was pumped. When Mike and Brian were in Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago, they decided to buy aviator sunglasses and try to bring them back. Mike has been proudly wearing them. I know Brio probably has a picture of them pimpin around in their aviators, but for now a Top Gun pic will do. There is also a link to a video Mike made this summer of his first car--the 1986 Ford Thunderbird, T-Dogg as he affectionately called her. Just last week the tow truck came and took T-Dogg away, which was sentimental for Mike. He of course now has his 5.0 Mustang GT that he loves, but the Thunderbird will be missed nonetheless. Before he got rid of her he did a monstrous brake-torqued burnout laying a 108 ft patch of rubber in front of our parents' house in Wadsworth. Mike is very proud of this video, and has been telling Uncle Gary about it for weeks (Uncle Gary owned the car originally!).
