DAY 17 AT EDWIN SHAW
First off I want to send my sympathy to my dad's cousin Karen. Her husband Jim passed away. You and the Ford family are in our thoughts. I know it was a long road for you guys.
Second, Mike is sick today. He was running a 101°F fever. He says he just feels bad all around, but not nauseated. He did not eat lunch or attend afternoon therapy. They are running tests. It could be a urinary tract infection. We are eagerly awaiting an answer, but for now he is on a general 10-day antibiotic.
As for me, I am headed off to Windfall to the Pirchners. Lauren and I are going to watch CSI and ER. I told her I had to work on my Halloween costume though so it is ready by Saturday for the Reep's bonfire Halloween party. Grandma did an awesome job "whip stitching" my velvet jacket into the bolero style. Thanks Grandma, and when I get it finished and wear it, I'll take pictures and post them for you all to see her handiwork.
Well, I think I just need to get going. I hope that tomorrow is a better day for everyone than today. Uncle Bus, we are still thinking about you too.
