I thought of a few things to add since yesterday's writing.
First, Mike got a really cool gift this weekend from the Pirchner's. Mr. Pirchner looked for a week on eBay and found an identical Sports Illustrated sweatshirt like Mike's favorite and bought it for him. Lauren dropped the gift off, and we are amazed at the difference in color!
Also, we received a package from Honeybaked Ham Company from my mom's friend Anita and family. Mike's eyes lit up as we pulled each food item from the giant insulated box! We cannot keep him full he eats so much!
We also received a nice card from our Uncle Paul and Aunt Nancy in PA. Mike will for sure get a pizza on you, and he will probably eat a good percentage of it himself. He weighed himself today and has gain a couple pounds.
Other than that, his MRI went well. He arrived home I guess telling Mom that he hoped I brought some leftovers from my cooking class. Which I did! Tonight we cooked breakfast food. I made oatmeal, some meringue, and some chocolate custard filling for a pie, and helped with assorted other dishes. The class also made raspberry crepes, homemade pumpkin pie from scratch, baked pumpkin seeds, homemade granola, chocolate chip pancakes, apple pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, regular omelets, egg white omelet, quiche, potatocakes, French toast, hashbrowns, and some caramel and chocolate souffle's!!
Anyways, Mike had a full plate of breakfast food tonight when I got home.
Mike has the ear/nose/throat doctor appointment on Friday.
My goal for the next week is to try and get Mike to write something on here. He is a bit intimidated by the amount of people reading it though, so it might take some time.
