Dear Kristen & Family, I can't tell you enough how sorry I am for about what happened to Mike. I call my mom and dad (Aunt Loretta & Uncle Ted) every day to check on him. You are so awesome to have started this web-site for Mike. I'm sure everyone who reads this truly appreciates what you are doing for him. Know that this huge, extended family of ours loves Mike and your family and are pulling for him. Stay strong to help him fight.

Dear Diane, Jim and Kristen,
I just wanted to let you know that Mike is in our thoughts and prayers. This web site is a great idea-you are doing a great thing, Kristen, keeping everyone informed. From reading through all the replies, it appears that your family has a great group of friends and family for support. I hope that all of you can stay strong (especailly Mike!!) May your guardian angels all be with you.

Jim, Diane, Kristin and Mike,
Each day I have kept you all in my thoughts and prayers. And you can count on knowing that I will continue this practice as long as it takes for Mike to pull through.
I want to be sure you know I am available to help in any way I can. That is what family is for: to help do the little things that need to get done so you can be with Mike as much as you need to be. If I can help with stuff like cooking, grocery shopping, cleaning, phone calls, whatever, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Kristen: as a fellow sister, I find myself thinking especially of you and how scary and overwhelming all of this must be. Whenever you and Mike are together, it is easy to see how loving and supportive you both are of one another, and I'm absolutely positive that bond is making such a difference for him now. I send strong, healing "sister vibes" each day so you can continue to do all the important sisterly work you do so well.
I love you all very much and send that love your way. Darcy

Mike:
The women that own the coffee shop in Massillon that I go to in the morning, have you in their prayer chain at their church. Eric from Atlanta is sending "positive vibes" your way. My old roommate Scotty in South Carolina is praying for you. Fitz and Lisa are praying for you. Brett Urian is thinking of you. Matt Kesti sends his best.

Jim, Diane, Kristen and Mike: Just want you all to know that even though I'm a hundred miles away, you're all in my thoughts and prayers daily. I have half of Columbus praying for you and have been working hard to get the rest Kristen: I knew you were a very stong woman, but I had no idea you were this stong. Continue to hang in there, as I know you will. If you need to talk/email or need anything at all please don't hesitate to get a hold of me. Thank you for keeping us all up to date on Mike's condition. I was calling and bugging my Dad for infomation, but we all know how he is with details I love you all very much. Stay strong and don't lose faith that god is on your side and will get you through this difficult time. See you soon, Crystal

Kristen and family,
I was truly saddened by the news of what happened to Mike. I think about you guys everyday and am pulling for him. I also think of you and the stength you must need just to process what has happened, so I am pulling for you as well. Kristen, I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate this website. With work and all, it was getting hard to talk to my parents everyday for an update. Now this website is the last thing i check before work and the first thing I check when I get home. Thank you so much!!
Love, Dan (Ted & Loretta's youngest)

Kristen, Jim and Diane, Lorie wanted me to let you all know that you all are in our prayers! I submitted Mike's name to be on the Prayer Rolls at our Temple in Columbus. The temple will have prayers over him every hour or so for the next two weeks. Kristen, I'm enjoying your posts and words of comfort and your positive attitude. Stay strong and know that we're praying for your strength. Diane & Jim, we can't even fathom the emotions you're feeling. We also pray for strength, comfort and God's blessings upon you! We appreciate you letting us visit Mike. He looked great to us... considering what he has and is going through. I've read all the posts, watched the video and know that there is a whole lot of hope and interest in Mike's condition. We are all praying for a speedy & positive outcome.

Diane, Jim, Kristen, Aunt Bev, and Uncle Chuck,
Our prayers and thoughts are with you all and especially Mike during this uncertain and emotionally hard time. We can't even imagine the pain you all are going through now. Just know in your hearts that Mike will pull through this just fine and then it will only be a bad memory.
Kristen, you are amazing. Through all this upheaval, you take the time to keep this web site updated so that Mike's many family and friends can be kept informed of his progress. We can only hope our kids grow up to be as dedicated to each other as you are to Mike. Diane and Jim, you have done a wonderful job.
Mom and dad (Rex & Kathleen) called us with this web site yesterday. We have checked it constantly since for Mike's progress. Thank you for keeping us informed.
All of our love and prayers,
Your long lost cousins,
Rick, Juli, Brad, Austin, & Caitie Carlton
ps: A little humor, When I originally sent this out, I used the name for dad that everyone in Ohio knows him by but this web site wouldn't let it go through because it thought it was a bad name. Instead it read as thingy & Kathleen. Now you all have a new name to call him by.
Administrator's Note: I changed the censored word list! I did not realize it set default censored words. You can now call Rex Uncle Dick or even Thingy if you so desire!

Dear Gamaufs: We will be praying for you and most importantly Mike tomorrow as a class in church. We have been praying hard all week and there is hardly a moment when this situation is not on my mind. I think my systems administrator at work could back me up on that one as I check this message board so often. We all care about Mike and you all and we wait with our breath held for every new update. Thanlk you for that as especially tonight has been very hard for you and it must have been tough to write the update. We will continue to pray as hard as we can and even though we are in Oklahoma if you need anything we are a phone call away. Many Prayers and Much Love, Candice and Jonathan Forte

Remember that God never leaves you, He is on this path with you!!! Ask Him to carry this burden for you. Trust, trust, trust!!!! Be still, be silent, and know that God is with you! My prayers are with you and your family. Prayer is a powerful thing, I have seen first hand what it can actually do. May you find comfort and courage in the arms of Christ.

Diane, Jim and Kristen,
Michael and all of your family are in the thoughts and prayers of so many, including Greg, Andrew and I, my entire family, and Silent Unity, a group that is praying daily for Michael. I wish there were words to bring you comfort, to ease your hearts and minds and to help you rest within a peaceful place, if only for a moment. Diane, know that I love you and your family and I am willing to do anything for you. Kristen, I view your updates daily and I’m grateful that you are keeping us informed of Michael’s condition from both the technical perspective and your sister’s intuition. Jim, your calm and steadfastness are a true gift. I see a lot of you in your children. Throughout the years I’ve seen the love, commitment and support the Hoyt family gives to one another and, even from Columbus, I see it now more clearly than ever. With love, Anita
